Ryan Ben,
IIDA Director of Association Experience

Ryan Ben has worked at the International Interior Design Association since 2011. In that time, he has become adept at event management, panel moderation, program creation, and crafting resources designed to enhance the membership experience. In addition, Ryan is an actor, writer, facilitator, and performer with over a decade of improvisation experience. Ryan is also a triathlon and endurance sport enthusiast and became a new dad in October, 2020. He will talk about either thing endlessly given the opportunity.

Anna Pinter,
FF&E Coordinator at Blox

Anna Pinter is a versatile interior designer who has been working in the architecture and design industry for four and a half years. As a natural planner, and strong visualizer she loves that design, and its process, is a tangible expression of creativity. Her current role as FF&E Coordinator at BLOX and GA Studio, gives her the opportunity to work with an innovative company that is truly changing our industry. As a modular construction company, BLOX strives to offer twice the quality, in half the time of traditional construction. Before her time at BLOX, Anna was part of the interior design team at Davis Architects, where she expanded on her knowledge of design, and excelled in 3D modeling and information management. Anna is also a professional disc golfer, competing regularly, and sharing her passion for the sport with everyone she can.

Jonathan Johnson,
Director of Interiors and Furnishings at BLOX

Jonathan has a diverse tenure in the Architecture and Design industry that has culminated into his current role as Director of Interiors and Furnishings at BLOX and GA studio. BLOX designs, manufactures, and constructs buildings, primarily in healthcare, at twice the speed and twice the value than traditional construction.  BLOX is the future of Architecture, Design and Construction. Prior to working with BLOX he has designed and overseen multi-million dollar building projects, achieved unprecedented sales growth working with designers, furniture dealers and clients with Humanscale and expanded my professional development and national reach as an A&D sales director with Humanscale, one of the world’s leading commercial furniture and ergonomic companies. He believes in the power of design to shape the human experience, and his core values — authenticity, diversity, clear communication, collaboration, and a strong work ethic — have defined his career and leadership.

Leslie McClenny, RID, IIDA, EDAC, LEED AP ID+C,
KPS

A healthcare interiors expert with more than a dozen years in professional practice, Leslie McClenny joined KPS Group last year as a Senior Associate.  During her senior year at Auburn University, where she graduated with a BS in Interior Design, Leslie discovered her passion for healing environments and evidence-based design.  She honed her skills for over a decade in Nashville at Earl Swensson Associates (ESa), a highly regarded national design firm, where she applied that passion for creating environments that promote healing, hospitality, and sustainability to projects ranging from healthcare to corporate, community, and education.  Now focused primarily on healthcare, Leslie strives to design environments that support each client’s mission through function, form, and positive culture. Her energy, ability to listen, and attention to detail have significantly contributed to projects that have garnered industry recognition and awards.

A long-time fascination with psychology led Leslie to explore personality assessments and how they could contribute to her personal development and understanding of others, and then to apply those lessons learned to her career.  She introduced personality assessments into ESa’s student intern onboarding process, and then integrated them into the firm’s new designer hiring process.  She is now introducing personality assessments into the onboarding process at KPS Group.
