As a recent graduate of the Interior Design program at The University of Alabama, I highly encourage design students from across the state to attend IMPACT: the ASID Alabama Interior Design Conference. This event is an incredible experience for students at every stage of their academic journey, whether you are just beginning or preparing to launch your career.

For those just starting out, the conference offers a unique opportunity to connect with upper-level students who can provide insight and guidance. You will also gain a broader understanding of how interior design programs differ across the state and hear from inspiring speakers about the endless opportunities the design world has to offer.

For students nearing the end of their college careers, the conference is a valuable chance to engage with industry professionals one-on-one. You will get advice on interviews, internships, job searching, and what to expect as you transition into the working world.

One of the highlights of the conference is our “Speed Networking with Professionals” session. During this interactive event, you will meet a variety of professionals from different career paths in smaller, more personal group settings. It gives you the chance to ask questions, learn from their experiences, and make meaningful connections.

And of course, throughout the conference, you will hear from some incredible speakers you truly will not want to miss.

Most importantly, the ASID State Conference is a powerful opportunity to network.
