ASID Alabama is looking for your feedback. This last year has been extremely out of the ordinary and we all are looking forward to resuming normal lives. Here are some of the benefits of membership, and we hope that you will be able to add to the list. Also, we are looking for suggestions for improvement. Feedback makes us a stronger, more relevant organization.
ASID State Conference – Our annual gathering provides educational and networking opportunities as well as fun!
CEU’s – These free offerings keep our members up-to-date. ASID members need to report 10 CEU’s every two years and registered designers need 10 CEU’s per year.
Codes – These courses are offered to deepen understanding of building codes. Registered designers need four codes classes out of ten per year.
Advertising is available on the ASID Alabama website.
Awards strengthen one’s brand.
Networking – These are opportunities to meet others in the design profession from around the state and around the nation.
Social Events– These events provide local and statewide networking opportunities.
Leadership Opportunities – Committee and board positions hone one’s leadership skills.
Student Competitions – These competitions advance student resumes.
Student Scholarships – Awards help defray the costs of education.
Vendor Relationships – These relationships help provide resources to further one’s skill sets and find products to meet job demands.
New Ideas:
Business-oriented educational events that offer opportunities to learn how to better run your business.
Travel Opportunities to learn from design and architecture throughout the ages.
